Emma Doherty

Hiiiii! My name is Emma and I’m a 23 year old health and fitness enthusiast with a HUGE passion to empower other females to embark on their own fitness journey to achieve their greatest lives.

I’m a Level 2 and Level 3 certified personal trainer & online fitness coach, and I absolutely love sharing my fitness journey through instagram (@emmafituk_)in the hope to inspire others to start living happier and healthier!

My Fitness Journey - then to now

In school I despised any sort of physical activity – I would forge notes from my mum for EVERY single PE lesson to the point where the teachers just accepted i wasn’t ever gonna participate. I also used to document the poor food choices I used to make all over my instagram *recurring theme of ben and jerrys, milky bar buttons and frijj chocolate milkshakes* (pls don’t scroll down to 2014 lol!) and refuse to eat anything green.

Fast forward to now; 3 and a half years into my fitness journey, and I get genuinely excited about going to the gym every single day – lifting weights has transformed my physical and mental self and has positively impacted my life in ways I can’t even describe! Moreover, nutrition is one of my biggest passions – I am fascinated by the science behind the foods we eat; and my diet is now comprised primarily of nutrient rich, wholesome healthy foods which I LOVE (obvs with the occasional pizza and ice-cream).

Online coaching

Online coaching is a collaborative journey between a client + a coach who co-create a personalised, tailored training and nutrition programme to take them to their goals✨

Empower Online Coaching is a client centred blue-print to take a client from point A to point B; continually adapting/ modifying plans and working together through setbacks and slip ups.

It’s a process of slowly improving dietary choices and building healthy habits to unlock a true lifestyle transformation instead of yet another 8 week failed fad diet.

It’s a regular thorough analysis of what is working, what isn’t working and the areas the client is doing amazing at: so we can FOCUS on working on goals that excites them instead of forcing them to do exercise/ eat food they hate.

It is structured, periodised training programming designed entirely around that clients goals, lifestyle, commitment, injuries, time etc.

It is an ENJOYABLE, balanced and highly personalised nutrition plan. Every single client of mine has completely different macros, calories and not one meal plan looks the same. It is the highest degree of personalisation as there truly isn’t a ‘one size fits all’/ cookie cutter approach that is going to work.

It is breaking down the BIG outcome goals into smaller achievable behaviour goals.
